TNR Adds to Property Holdings and Mineral Potential at Four Corners
Junior mining company Triple Nine Resources Ltd (TNR) of Stephenville, NL announces it has purchased a 100% undivided interest in Mineral Licence 15342M located adjacent to the Four Corners project situated along the Burgeo Highway in southwestern Newfoundland. Under the terms of the sale and purchase agreement with the former owner, local prospector Shawn Rose of Stephenville, TNR issued 100,000 common shares from its treasury to Mr. Rose for the undivided ownership of the 15 mining claims contained within the licence.
This is the second strategic property acquisition by TNR in the past month and together with the earlier purchase of 65 mining claims from Marathon PGM Corporation brings the total number of claims making up the Four Corners Property to 124 covering 7,781 acres of highly prospective ground. Triple Nine CEO Len Muise advises the work program currently in progress on the property is being expanded to cover the new sections of ground now owned by TNR.
The company is also pleased to report that the Department of Natural Resources had issued all of the exploration approvals and permits for 2010 to cover the gridding, geophysical surveying, prospecting, mapping, trenching and rock sampling programs planned to December 31, 2010.
Mr. Muise also acknowledges the support received from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador for this vanadium – titanium – iron ore (magnetite) mineralized property through 3 separate grants awarded under the Prospector and Junior Assistance funding programs administered by the Department of Natural Resources. He states these grants have greatly assisted in advancing the exploration work that has produced highly positive results from the large, more than 3,000 metre long mineralized zone outlined to date on the property.
